Frequently Asked Questions Nido and Children's House
Applications for Nido and Children’s House are submitted via our website and
through Kindernet Frankfurt.
www.kindernetfrankfurt.de/app/frankfurt/de/home
Admissions to Nido and Children’s House are based on a carefully balanced group composition, taking into account:
- the age of the child
- gender balance within the group
- the family’s interest in and alignment with the Montessori philosophy
No, this is unfortunately not possible. As our Nido and Children’s House are supported by the City of Frankfurt, applications are only open to families whose primary residence (first place of residence) is registered in Frankfurt.
Due to the high number of applications we receive each year, we are unfortunately unable to offer visits before a place is offered. Visits are only possible once families have been contacted and invited to a personal meeting as part of the admissions process.
Our admissions process is completed in May. Once the process has concluded, all families will be contacted. Depending on availability, families will either receive an invitation to a meeting if a place can be offered, or a notification that no place is available. We kindly ask families to refrain from further enquiries until May.
While we make every effort to offer children attending our Nido a place in Children’s House, we are unfortunately not able to guarantee this. Admission to Children’s House always depends on the availability of places at the time of transition.
